Sanhiti
Sanhiti means "confluence". Founded in 2004 by three San Francisco Bay Area dancers - Janani Narayanan, Priya Krishnamoorthy and Roopa Parameswaran, Sanhiti has annual fund raisers to benefit non-profit organizations in the Bay Area.
Sanhiti's Mission
Sanhiti's Mission is to promote the rich and diverse South Indian culture and to engage arts enthusiasts for the benefit of non-profits every year.
Volunteer OrganizationSanhiti is a completely volunteer driven organization. Sanhitians come from all walks of life and devote their time, talent and energy for a good cause. In all these years of Sanhiti's existence, we have had more than 100 members. We have teams of choreographers, dancers, production crew, marketing, publicity, audio, video and lighting experts. Although quite a few members have been with Sanhiti since its inception, as with any dynamic and organically growing organization, members are free to pursue other interests at anytime. We also welcome new members every year through auditions and word of mouth.
Please contact us if you like what you see and want to be part of our organization! |

Now, having said all that...
We have an outreach effort ongoing on our Facebook Page named "Know Your Sanhitians!". Please take a moment to get to know our volunteers!
